Tayside Mountain Rescue help people if they become hurt or lost in the mountains

The Tayside Mountain Rescue is made up of 53 team members

They Tayside Mountain Rescue team is made up of lots of different types of people - some are policewomen, some are doctors, some are mums and dads

Every team member of Tayside Mountain rescue is a volunteer - this means that they don’t get paid for the work they do (they do it because helping people is important to them)

TMR was established in 1976

TMR has two Ford Rangers and an Incident Command Vehicle

The team work around the clock...24/7, 365 days a year

Tayside Mountain Rescue’s headquarters are in Blairgowrie

TMR work across the whole of the Tayside Region. That includes…..surrounding towns like Aberfeldy, Pitlochry and Kirriemuir
